Borusan Müzik Evi is once more my home for another “duo” experience which I believe will continue for many years. Jonah Parzen-Johnson, the baritone player from NYC has brought in beautiful sounds with him and it felt like we’ve playing for ages together although we’ve never met. For our first meeting we chose to perform together the new “duo” versions of our ex-solo albums: A new approach to his “Imagine Giving Up” and my “Mountains are Mountains”, a long journey that took almost 2 hours on the stage, and in the end it’s a handshake and we can both feel this is just the beginning of a lot of creations together.
