Materials of Mind Theatre
Materials of Mind Theatre is a theatrical project by İnci Eviner, consisting of 25 stoneware clay ceramic sculptures that resemble costumes, on a platform that functions as both stage and pedestal. During regular performances, one of the central forms is replaced by a live performer, transforming the static sculptures into a dynamic theatrical experience. Eviner creates intricate artworks incorporating costumes, choreography and original music by Berke Can Özcan, inviting the audience to imagine their own narratives. The sculptures are given intriguing titles such as Black Cyrano de Bergerac and A Tyrant, The Biggest Manipulator of All Ages, referencing various theatrical traditions and prompting viewers to consider the roles of these characters in a broader context.
